From the CEO: Why Alcohol’s Days are Numbered

We are all watching history repeat itself during this current decade. Last century it was alcohol, that for some odd reason, was banned from being sold in America. However, freedom loving Americans still felt that as bad as it was for you, you deserved a beer or two after a hard day. Almost simultaneously as alcohol had been liberated marijuana was vilified and made 100% illegal. Damn near 80 years have passed since then and we are about to see hemp legalized nationwide. But what does it really mean to the alcohol industry?

Its no lie, alcohol sales are down in Colorado. Having the choice to blaze, almost at will, has made it so easy to pass up the liquor store and hit up a dispensary. Its not even a question of if but when the next fatality occurs from alcohol. This month there will be numerous deaths, rapes and assaults that the alcohol industry helped facilitate. The country is beginning to sober up. Partying all night and getting nothing done the following day is quickly being replaced by hilarious evenings, restful sleep and being ultra productive the following day. You can’t get drunk and give the world your best effort the following day.

The alcohol industry is the leader in keeping hemp illegal. They’ve forked over billions fighting it. They know we’ve been drinking booze for 80 years only and are beginning to sober up. What may happen is catastrophic for them. Tighter restrictions! They get away with murder but will no longer once hemp is legalized. In Colorado the tax has been allocated to help infrastructure projects. Especially the highways. The same highways that numerous drunk people will drive on and kill either themselves or somebody else today. But they pay no tax? What about that industry makes it exempt from it? Nobody is bringing it up, until now! You can’t be an accomplice in as much carnage as they are involved in and not pay a price. If legal hemp pays it than alcohol needs to pay it too. Nobody’s life has gotten better since they began boozing. There is no medicinal use anymore. Getting someone so plastered you could pull out their teeth out with pliers was considered cutting edge medicine in its day.

President Trump, has clearly shown his dislike of the alcohol industry. His older brother Fred, lost his life because of it. Our President, personally, has never drank. I see him as a stubborn opponent to its freedom to get away with murder and not be held accountable much longer. With all due respect; I would like to think that if his brother had access to medical marijuana he would’ve been alive to see his little brother sworn in as President.

With Initiative 300 passing in Denver it is only a matter of time before businesses are set up to cater to the marijuana consumers living in state as well as the travelers from all over looking to legally consume; going head to head with established restaurants, nite clubs, bars, pubs and wineries throughout Denver. Public perception is changing daily and more and more grandparents are medicating with their grandkids than ever before. Twenty years from now alcohol will be seen for what it is. A risk to anyone that goes near it. Almost 90k deaths are related to it each year. Approximately 90k more than marijuana alone. 10k traffic related deaths resulting in over 30% of all traffic related fatalities.
There is nothing more important than getting the truth out into the open. Alcohol kills and hemp cures!
